As more and more people are adopting the plant-based lifestyle, restaurants are upping their game when it comes to vegan options on their menus.
Here are some of my favourite places to eat out as a vegan.
A firm favourite here at Gymshark Central, Wagamama has a growing selection and delicious vegan food, including yasai gyoza (dumplings to you and me) and their infamous ‘vegatsu’, a vegan alternative to their popular chicken katsu curry.
We would definitely recommend.
If you’re craving pizza, Pizza Express is a firm vegan favourite.
They are pretty flexible when it comes to their menu, so just ask for vegan mozzarella and you can custom make your own pizza.
We would, however, recommend giving the Leggera Giardinera pizza a go.
Whether you’re doing Veganuary a lot, this is a pizza you will not want to miss.
Las Iguanas has a separate menu dedicated to their vegan options, so it really has never been easier to be plant-based. Lots of their menu comes with a vegan alternative, for example, the Moqueca De Palmitos.
Got room for dessert? We would recommend Tembleque, which is a vegan set coconut pudding with a delicious mango purée.
I’m not drooling, you are.
Another popular chain restaurant with a lot of tasty vegan options for you to treat yourself to. If you’re not fancying a supervital green salad, we would recommend opting for one of the vegan one pots – the Ital rundown is very good.
Now you have even more reason to stop off for a Turtle Baycocktail!
HANDMADE BURGER CO.
Last but not least, we couldn’t write this without mentioning at least one burger place, right?
Handmade Burger Co. has a great vegan range including Cajun vegetable and bean and falafel, sweet potato and bean.
Don’t feel like you have to miss out on the milkshakes!
Handmade Burger Co. serve soya milkshakes – we would recommend going for the peanut butter flavour.
